Artificial Nest (कृत्रिम घरटे)

Due to the growing population in the city due to urbanization and the problem of space created by the growing population, large buildings built out of trees for these people to live in, etc., there is no space for birds to nest.As a result, the number of birds in the city is declining day by day. The answer to this problem is artificial nests.Such an artificial nest will provide a safe haven for birds in the city and will balance the environment and situation in the city.

Will birds live in artificial nests? Will they breed? Will they lay eggs? I hope the answer to many questions is yes. So how to make this nest ?:

First make wooden or plywood boards. Cedar, etc. Tree boards last longer. Other wood can also be used. Make holes of about 2 "diameter in the nest. The edges of the round hole should be rubbed with polish paper so that the edges are not injured when the bird enters.The mouth of the nest itself should not be too big as it can cause birds of prey or crows to lay eggs in the nest.

The mouth of the nest (round hole) should be at the top and if it is down, the eggs are likely to fall down. Give the nest a brown or green color so that it is covered in natureThe birds first make sure the nest is safe. Nesting material is brought into the nest only if it feels right, so you should not keep nesting material in the nest.

If a bird leaves the nest, the nest should not be removed. The nest should have a sloping roof as such nests avoid pigeons. Otherwise, pigeons in such nests encroach on bird nests.Make 7-8 holes in the bottom of the nest so that water does not accumulate in the nest during rainy season and drain water. Always place the nest 10 to 15 feet above the ground.

To make such a nest you need 5 liters of plastic. Can also be reused. For this too we should follow the above method.

नागरिकीकरांमुळे शहरात वाढती चाललेली लोकसंख्या आणि वाढत्या लोकसंख्येमुळें निर्माण झालेली जागेची समस्या ,या लोकाना राहण्यासाठी झाडेतोडुन बांधलेल्या मोठमोठया इमारती इत्यादि कारणामुळे पक्ष्यांना घरटी बांधायला जागाच राहत नाहीत. यामुळे शहरातील पक्ष्यांची संख्या दिवसेंदिवस कमी कमी होत चालली या समस्येवर उत्तर म्हणजे कृत्रिम घरटी अशा कृत्रिम घरट्यामुळे शहरात पक्ष्यांचे सुरक्षित निवारा भेटेल व शहरातील पर्यावरण आणि परिस्तिथकी संतुलित राहील .

कृतीम घरटयामध्ये पक्षी राहतील का? प्रजनन करतील का? अंडी देतील का ? आशा अनेक प्रश्नांचं उत्तर हे होकारार्थी असेल.तर मग एकच प्रश्न उरतो तो म्हणचे ही घरटी बनवायची कशी ?:

सर्वप्रथम लाकडाच्या किंवा प्लायवूड च्या फळ्या बनवून घ्याव्या . देवदार, इ. वृक्षाची फळ्या जास्त काळ टिकतात इतर लाकडांचा ही उपयोग होवू शकतो. घरट्याच्या एका साधारन 2" diameter चे छिद्रे पाडून घ्यावे . त्या गोलाकृती छिद्राच्या कडा पोलिश पेपर ने घासून घ्याव्यात जेणेकरुन पक्ष्याला आता प्रवेश करते वेळी कडांची इजा होणार नाही.घरट्याच तोंड फार मोठं नसावं कारण यामुळे पक्ष्यांचे भक्षक किंवा कावळे सुद्धा घरट्यात पक्षांची अंडी फस्त करू शकतात.

घरट्या च तोंड (गोलाकृती छिद्र) वरच्या बाजूला असावे खाली असल्यास अंडी खाली पडण्याची शक्यता असते. घरट्याना तपकिरी किंवा हिरवा रंग द्यावा जेणेकरून निसर्गात झाकून जाइल.पक्षी सर्वप्रथम घरटे सुरक्षित आहे का याची खात्री करून घेतात. घरटे योग्य वाटले तरच घरट्यात नेस्टिंग मटेरियल आणून ठेवतात म्हणून आपण नेस्टिंग मटेरियल घरट्यात ठेवू नये .

एखादा पक्षी घरटे सोडून गेल्यास घरटे ते काढू नये ते घरटे दुसरे पक्षी वापरतात . घरटे उतरत्या छपराच असाव कारण अशी घरटी कबुतरे टाळतात .अन्यथा कबुतर अशा घरत्यामधील पक्ष्यांच्या जागेवर अतिक्रमण करतात.घरट्याच्या खालच्या बाजूला 7-8 छिद्रे पाडावीत जेणेकरून पावसाळ्यात घरट्यात पाणी साठणार नाही पाणी निचराही होईल.नेहमी घरटे जमिनीपासून 10 ते 15 फुटवर लावावे.

अशी घरटी तयार करण्यासाठी आपण प्लास्टिकच्या 5 ली. च्या डब्ब्याचाही पुनःवापर करू शकतो. यासाठीसुद्धा आपण वरील पद्धतीचा अवलंब करावा.
